We tried going to the evening story time last night. We won't be doing that again. Yeah, it was that bad. Gwendolyn literally screamed through the entire thing. Usually we just smile and pretend she isn't causing a scene. But last night it was bad enough that Tim had to take her out of the library.
Lucas enjoyed the program. But not the play time afterwards (which is normally his favorite part) The library with overcrowded with bratty older kids. And parents that were just as rude. It was pretty miserable. But I'm glad we went. We know we aren't missing out on anything now :)
We will still be going to the toddler story times in the mornings. Because both kids like that one. And there isn't too much screaming...

Sorry about the night time story time not being what you expected. Day time seems to be my speed lately too for the library. But the evening programs serve yummy cookies and coffee, so I'm there:)Love ya,
