We took our first trip to White Pines state park this weekend. Lucas is getting so good at climbing on the trails. He even has an itty bitty pair of hiking boots :)

Working With Daddy
We just cleaned out the garage (to make it Lucas-friendly). And he is loving working with Daddy.
The Art Table
Lucas finally has an art table!! I've been looking and looking for a tiny table for him. But I wasn't able to find one sturdy enough. They all looked like they would break the minute he got near them. Then I remembered this table we had in the basement. It is PERFECT! Lucas loves using it for puzzles, art, parking his trucks under it, and just sitting on in general.
Blueberry Goodness
We made blueberry waffles for breakfast. Here is Lucas thoroughly enjoying the fruits of his labor (with a glass of milk). We do ALOT of cooking, but I never seem to get any pictures of him doing the actually cooking... Too busy having a good time, I guess :)
Play dough fun
We made some homemade play dough. It was soooo much fun!! Lucas poured all of the ingredients and mixed them. It turns out that red dye WILL stain your counters.. and floors.. and clothes... and child.. :) Did I mention it was lots of fun? The dough was kind of too sticky for Lucas to play with, tho. And the best part of all? Lucas even cleans up after himself. When we were done mixing, he asked for a napkin and started scrubbing the spots off of the floor.
