Lucas in midair. And a scarf.

Traveling Bird.

Why Lucas looks so tired? Because we woke up at 6 AM. See the sunrise? So did we.... But at least he got to sit on a big chair.

Oh that Bird.

He so enjoys being places that he just shouldn't be. Like perched on top of the dishwasher. Responsible parent that I am, I laughed and went to go get the camera, rather than take him off.
And best of all - eating my coffee straight out of the can.. He didn't sleep much that day. Or night. But it was REALLY funny.

And one more picture

of Lucas loving on Grandma :) (if you look closely you may even see an elusive Tim in the background.)

The Grandparents Again

Lucas and Jazzy had soo much fun opening Christmas presents together :) Lucas got a little truck. That sings. Oh, Suzannah. He LOVES it. And plays it CONSTANTLY. Lucas even dances to it!!! I think I'm not very fond of that song... Tim thinks it's stinking funny. Thanks Mitch!!! (we're also enjoying our cafe style beverages :)
Both kids of course enjoyed jumping on Grandma and the couch.
Lucas was enjoying Aunt Yvonne's company. Woohoo!!!
And last but not least - chocolate ice cream. Lucas always gets super special treats (that he shouldn't be eating...) when he goes to Grandma and Granpa's house :) He was looooving the chocolate ice cream!!! He even licked the bowl clean :)

Random Bird

Just some random Lucas pictures. I think he's getting closer....

A Visit With Aunt Heidi

But first, a big brown dog (Nestle, of course) had to sniff him. Lucas really is getting more tolerant of dogs.. It took about ten whole seconds before he started screaming when said brown dog sniffed him. He actually does like that praticular dog.. When it's sleeping.. Across the room..
And a picture of Lucas and Aunt Heidi after she so generously acted as a horse for a LONG time. Lucas was delighted!! Because what's better than a Heidi, after all? A Heidi Horse, of course!
And she was shielding him from the approaching big red dog that's he's looking so skeptically at.

Out and About

Lucas was terrible cranky and tired and just didn't want to take a nap. So we decided to take him for a car ride. It ALWAYS puts him to sleep. The picture of him in his carseat is after about an hour of driving. He didn't sleep....But he was REALLY cute staring at the back of my head the whole ride :)
We took him to an indoor play area, instead :) He sooo loves playing there! And trying to steal the camera from me :)

My Baby, The Menace

Lucas happily pushed one of our kitchen chairs over to the counter. And scuttled right up it.. And plucked my tea kettle right off the stove. The very same tea kettle I told him he couldn't have just a few minutes earlier... Doesn't he look so innocent???

The Joy of Christmas

Or at least the Presents of Christmas :) Here are some pictures of Lucas opening his Christmas presents at our house on Christmas morning. And opening some Christmas presents from Aunt Robin and Aunt Lisa/Uncle Michael. (He loves the puzzles, by the way!!!)

Unfortunately I managed to forget to bring my camera with on Christmas Day, so no family pictures... :(
