We tried watercolor painting a few days ago. It was a big hit! Lucas mostly liked getting the brush full of paint and then swishing it in the water to watch the colors mix. And then painting with the colorful water. Which definitely makes for some very interesting pastel-y paintings. They're so very spring inspired :)

You always do fun things. Why can't I be a fun creative mom. LOL!!!
:) There are some days when it is a HUGE effort to pull myself off the couch and do a fun project rather than turn on the television. But it is sooo worth it seeing how much Lucas enjoys doing things with me, and it really improves his behavior when we spend just a little bit of one on one time together every day.
I read a handful of inspiring crafty/toddler art blogs - it gives me a shove in the right direction. I honestly don't come up with most of these ideas on my own.
