Still pregnant

We had a doctor's appointment today. I'm 36.5 weeks pregnant. And only dilated a centimeter. Awesome!!! It looks like we're going to make it to a full term baby :) I am so thrilled to have made it this far - it was looking pretty likely that the baby would be born early. But due to some diligent bedrest we're almost to 37 weeks!
We still haven't thought of the perfect name for this little one. Hopefully we'll come up with something soon! I'm actually counting on Tim - he named both Lucas and Gwendolyn :) lol
We have everything ready around here. Or at least everything that I can think of.
It will be so great to have a tiny new baby soon! And I can't wait to get up off the couch and run around with the kids again!!

Pregnancy update

I'm 27 weeks pregnant. The baby is so active. She kicks all the time in a sweet fluffy little way. She's still feet down. I'm hoping she will flip soon!! I've been doing a lot of crawling around in hopes of encouraging her to flip :) We had a doctor's appointment today. It looks like she's growing well! We have to go for a fetal echo sometime soon. (because of Gwendolyn's heart condition, there's a 3-5 percent chance that this baby will have a heart condition, too - in which case she needs to be born somewhere with a NICU, not in the middle of nowhere).
So, everything is going great!
I'm feeling great and the baby is growing :)

Sleep

It is 3:46 a.m. And I'm awake. Why? Because I tried to go to bed at a reasonable hour. How silly of me.. I usually stay up late. And it works out just fine. But tonight, I fell asleep when I put Lucas to bed at 9. I woke up at midnight to tend to Gwendolyn. And couldn't fall back asleep.. I was so excited, thinking I would get a good long night's sleep. How silly of me. The kids will be up for the day in about two hours. I'm debating if I should even try to go back to sleep or just wait up for them. And the icing on the cake? We ate pizza for dinner. Eesh. I can't eat real food like pizza without getting sick.. I'm on a bunny food only diet these days. So I'm sick and awake.
I don't think I'll be going back to sleep
But at least I'll get to see the sunrise.
And greet my tiny ones in the morning, fully awake. :)

Twenty three weeks

I'm twenty three weeks pregnant. I can hardly believe it. We're going to have a baby in just a few months!! Time has went by so quickly...
New Baby moves around a lot when one of the kids lays on my stomach. It makes Lucas really happy :) He's so excited about having another little tiny baby soon. Gwendolyn can't figure out what's going on when she feels the baby move. Today, she kicked the New Baby back. What a funny little girl. Maybe they're making up games to play already?

A new baby!

We're expecting a new little girl at the beginning of November :)
And we are so happy about it!
Both Lucas and Gwendolyn are excited as could be!
